BHP Seniors Awarded Both Prestigious Texas Parents’ Outstanding Student Awards

BHP seniors Erica Brody and Michael Daehne were awarded the Texas Parents’ Outstanding Students Awards, an honor given to only one male and one female each year at The University of Texas. Not since 2005 have both awards been given to BHP students.

Since 1951, this award has been given to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, scholarship, character, and service. According to the Texas Parents website, the honorees will be given a special plaque, lifetime membership in Texas Exes, and have a brick paver laid at the Student Services Building in their honor. The awards will be presented at the Celebration of Leadership Dinner on November 4th as well as during a field presentation during the November 5th home football game.

The Business Honors Program is incredibly proud of Erica and Michael for their amazing achievement!
