A Conversation with Jim Turley, Chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young

Please join us as Dean Gilligan interviews Jim Turley, chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young, on the many successes of his career. Jim Turley has worked to create a high-performance work environment with a highly visible leadership commitment to “Quality in Everything We Do.” His efforts have created a leading global professional services organization providing assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. Through his insight, students can gain advice on how to lead successful careers.

The event will consist of a presentation by Jim Turley followed by an open floor question and answer period. This event is open to all University of Texas at Austin students and staff, as well as the general public. Please arrive early as the event will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. The series is organized and sponsored by the Undergraduate Business Council.

Panelists include teachers who have taught in China, Japan, Poland and the United States. The presentation is open to all students.

    Thursday, April 15th from 5-6:30 pm
    Learn about current workforce trends and factors impacting career decision-making and satisfaction for women. Explore what work/life balance means for you. Students from all colleges are encouraged to attend.

Mar 10th – Hong Kong and Thailand Info Session

Have you considered studying abroad in Hong Kong or Thailand? Hear from international exchange students and returning McCombs study abroad students who will talk about what it is like to live and study in these exciting countries. BBA students have an opportunity to study abroad and earn business credit in Thailand at Thammasat University and in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong!
