Free Trip with Deloitte and Teach For America: Opportunity for UT Students

Full-expense paid trip to Baton Rouge , Louisiana for an Alternative Spring Break Maximum Impact: a joint Alternative Spring Break with Deloitte and Teach For America.

 

This program, running March 14-18th in conjunction with UT’s spring break, brings professionals from both Deloitte and Teach For America and students from across the country together for a weeklong, expenses-paid trip where you’ll work with schools and students who face the challenges of educational inequity.  Students will be working side by side with professionals from Deloitte and Teach For America who can offer an inside look into life in professional services or as a Teach For America corps member.

 

This is a terrific opportunity for students to improve lives, make new friends and create professional ties that can last a lifetime. Feb 9 – Australia and Norway Info Session

Have you considered studying abroad in Australia or Norway? Hear from international exchange students and returning McCombs study abroad students who will talk about what it is like to live and study in these exciting countries. BBA students have an opportunity to study abroad and earn business credit at the University of New South Wales, Australian National University and the BI Norwegian School of Management!

Jan. 25th – BBA Organizational Fair

On January 25th, Alpha Kappa Psi will be sponsoring an Organizational Fair in the Atrium from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Most of the McCombs Affiliated Student Organizations will be in attendance.  It’s a great way for you to learn about the different orgs and become involved!

Supply Chain Management in Hong Kong, S.A.R.: Summer Session I

Cost: $6175 total ($4400 plus $975 LA/Mainland Chine trip fee plus $800 UEX registration fees)
Follow the supply chain from Austin through the Long Beach port to China.

BBA Global International Business Program: Summer Session II
July 12 – August 6, 2009 / MAN 337 & IB 372
Cost: $2600 total ($1800 plus $800 UEX registration fees)
Work with Austrian, Brazilian, and Chinese students who travel to UT to take part in this intensive four week program. Gain valuable intercultural tools through international teamwork and a global marketplace simulation.
