Welcome new and returning students! We hope you have a great first week of classes. Here are a few things you need to know and make note of:
- Business Honors Academic Advisors CANNOT add students into closed classes.
- From Aug. 26th – Aug. 31st you have add/drop access by designated time: http://registrar.utexas.edu/schedules/099/whentoregister/period6/index.html
- On the fourth class day, Aug. 31st, departments drop students from classes who do not meet prerequisites. If you are in danger of getting dropped, you will receive a warning email!
- On the fourth class day, Aug. 31st, at 5:00 p.m. waitlists are turned off, and you cannot be added into a course through the system anymore.
- After the fourth class day, from Sept. 1st – Sept. 10th, only departments can add students into a course. You must go to the department offering the course to ask if you can be added.
- Until September 10th, you can drop classes yourself through the Registrar.
Please realize that at this time of year Academic Advisors are inundated with e-mails. If you have a pressing issue, it is your responsibility to contact the department you need directly, or to call or come into the Business Honors Office for assistance.
