- FIN 372 – Valuation of Energy Investments
Modeling uncertainty (e.g., commodity prices) for investment decision making problems in energy and other capital intensive industries.
Finish what you start.
What advice would you like to give BBA students?
Make the most of your time here at McCombs, because that time is moving faster than you might think.
What has been the most memorable moment in your professional career?
Probably the first time I saw some of my students walk across the stage at graduation. That was awesome.
Outside of the classroom, what are some of your interests?
Following UT sports, playing drums, spending time at the lake.
What is your most treasured possession?
The baseball I threw out for the first pitch at a UT game (I had some students from the team in my class and they arranged it).
If you could have dinner with a notable person in history, who would that be and why?
John Bonham, the legendary drummer from Led Zeppelin (one of my favs). We would have a quick dinner so he could give me a lesson afterwards.
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I had a ~1 second career as a bull rider. Tried it on a dare in the FFA rodeo in high school.
