Statesman Profiles McCombs Alumnus, Tiff’s Treats Owner Chen

Walking through the small house near the University of Texas campus that Leon Chen, BBA ‘01, and Tiffany Taylor, owners of Tiff’s Treats, have turned into a cookie factory, it feels like you’re swimming through a warm pool of vanilla and sugar.

For 10 years, Tiff’s Treats has been bringing the smell of freshly baked cookies to homes, offices, hospitals and anyplace else where a dose of comfort is needed.

When they were sophomores at UT, Chen, a business major, convinced Taylor, an advertising major with a killer chocolate chip cookie recipe, that they could figure out a way to earn money without going to work for someone. Chen knew how good Taylor’s cookies were, and when he realized no one in town was delivering cookies that were baked to order, Tiff’s Treats was born. Read the full story from the Statesman.
