There are many resources available for job seekers, and one that alumnae may want to explore is the Women@Work Network, LLC—a nationwide network for mid to senior-level current and returning professional women. They provide resume reviews and individual career coaching in person in the New York metro area or by phone across the country. They currently have active networking groups in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts that offer women opportunities for support, shared job search strategies and wisdom. For more information, visit www.womenatworknetwork.com.
Also of interest may be Fortune’s list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For.” They create an annual list of the best companies for women. View the 2008 list now.
If you are a part of a professional organization or work for a company that supports the advancement of women in the workplace, we’d like to hear from you. Please share your information in our comments section below.
