The 2nd annual Green Means Go 5K was a huge success, raising $4,000 for sustainability efforts at McCombs. The money will help expand the school’s recycling program by purchasing more of the large hallway bins for the UTC. Last year’s race raised $3,000, which was used for a light sensor project that was recently completed.
More than 350 students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members participated – congrats to the top finishers! View McCombs’ Flickr gallery from the race.
