I really enjoyed listening to Ricky Berens share his experience and perspective.
He included that swimming taught him three important things for life:
1) Time Management
2) Goal Setting
3) Perseverance
Berens jokingly included that his father was a CPA and when he was exploring career options his father recommended against the profession, so he “took his advice.” It was quite funny.
But in all seriousness, I’m sure his father is very proud that his son is not only a gold medal winner, but also a student in the best accounting program in the country.
