Congratulations to the McCombs team for placing third at the national Deloitte FanTAXtic Case Competition! Sixty teams representing 43 colleges and universities participated in the regional event in November. As one of nine winners at the regional event, the team travelled to Deloitte University to compete in the national competition this past January.

Year after year Terri Holbrook devotes her time and energy to help the McCombs team. Her experience helps guide the team to the winner’s circle more often than not. This year, the McCombs team demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively to solve a complex business case simulation. The team was also recognized for the quality of their overall presentation to a panel of live and virtual judges using the organization’s video conferencing capabilities.

Members of the student team included Abhinav Sridharan, BBA ’19; Adam Sugerman, MPA ’18; Alejandra Flores, BBA ’19; Julie Riess, MPA ’18; and Patrick Brinkmann, MPA ’17.
